Team 20s - Anna Kasun
Anna Kasun is a writer, singer, and actress from Fair Haven, New Jersey. Her current writing projects include a blog about lighthouses & cafes @KasunPoint, and a novel that she is working on with Project Write Now.
Team 30s - Jackie Domenus
Jackie Domenus is a queer, gender nonconforming writer from South Jersey. Their first book, NO OFFENSE: A MEMOIR IN ESSAYS, was published with ELJ Editions in 2025. A former Sundress Academy for the Arts resident and Tin House Workshop graduate, Jackie's work has appeared in HuffPost, The Normal School, and elsewhere. You can follow her @jackie.d.writes.
Team 40s - Shatiera Porte’e
Shatiera Porte‘e is a speaker, author of her self-help journal " I Forgive Myself For Forgetting Myself", proud mother, a Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women scholar, Project Write Now instructor, and founder of School Counselor On Wheels, LLC. Shatiera empowers youth globally through workshops on self-love, leadership, and mental health wellness. You can follow her @shatieraportee.
Team 50s - Jennifer Gallo Gaites
Jennifer Gallo Gaites is a writing instructor at Project Write Now. She writes essays about identity and motherhood and is working on her first novel. When she’s not reading or writing, she’s either asking her young adult children too many questions or trying to understand her middle-schooler’s obsession with YouTube.
Team 60s - Geri Scazzero
Geri Scazzero is the author of The Emotionally Healthy Woman (Zondervan, 2013) and served on staff of New Life Fellowship Church in New York City for over 30 years. She is a popular conference speaker/trainer for church leaders, married couples, and women’s groups in North America and internationally. Geri is also the co-author, along with her husband Pete, of the best-selling The Emotionally Relationship Course and The Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Course.
Team 70s - Mary Warner
Mary Warner is a retired Sales VP. Now “Hobbyholic”(no known cure): storyteller, children’s book author, and senior triathlete; life long learner: native gardening, piano, violin, writing, pie chef. Dog, cat, and nature lover. Volunteer and member: Daughters of American Revolution; dishwasher at JBJ Soul Kitchen, Red Bank Animal Welfare Committee. Old in body, young at heart grandmother. I write to amuse, inspire, and challenge.
